Oak is an extremely dense material (aprox. 0.75g/cubic cm) and as a result has unrivalled vibration absorption capabilities.
We use only prime grade oak from FSC certified forests to produce an extremely solid and stable platform for your turntable.
M8 inserts are precision machined into the base and the platform comes complete with 4 black M8 spikes and anodised cups, which are adjustable to ensure you can level your turntable with precision.
Plinth shown is in it's natural state and can be finished in a number of stains to suit you or in clear oil to retain the natural wood grain. Stained option will be oil top coated to protect the wood and give a satin sheen.
Standard dimensions are 480mm x 400mm x 45mm thick, standing on spikes a total height of 70-75mm. Weight-5kg. Bespoke sizes available. Please get in touch.
Please note - this is solid oak ,NOT veneered MDF or softwood. It is also NOT made from cheap kitchen worktop offcuts as some on the market!
